So you dropped 30-40 bucks to get in and just walked out? I never understood the point of this. It's not like Hollywood cares. They already got your money.

You should have asked for you money back.

It was marketed as a kids movie, but it was full of crude jokes. I would have hit them up that way.

It was really bad.

If the movie sucks, then how exactly is suffering through it getting your money's worth?

But even if you stay, do you get your money's worth? The money spent for tickets + snacks at this point are a 'sunk cost'. Therefore they should have no bearing on your decision in the present. If you stay in the theater and subject yourself to more misery you are missing out on the opportunity cost of doing something else... something probably a hell of a lot more enjoyable than watching something you have little to no interest in.

Land of the Lost has been out for 2 weeks, I think everybody should know it sucks by now. If you walk out atleast try and see another movie or get a refund

I don't think you should be allowed a refund if you don't like the movie.

I do if it was marketed as a childrens film when it is full of adult humor.

I am all for crude jokes, but I could see a parent being pissed if they took their kids.

Opportunity cost. Once paid you lose money and time. If the movie is not enjoyable then as least you can use your time better. So you lose more staying.

Having said that I have only left one movie and that was because my ride did not realize the movie was a black and white subtitled Japanese Samurai movie.

I just wouldn't hold the theater accountable for something the rating failed to cover. I know there's not much you can do about that, though.

If, after only 15 minutes, you decide it's THAT bad....ask the mgt. for passes for another movie. I've done it a couple of times; no problem. They want your concession $$$.....

One memorable *shudder* time was Howard the Duck.

I agree with that. My point is that I don't agree with being able to utilize the facility for free.

As Muad'Dib said, They want your concessions. They only get a small amount of the ticker anyway.

I thought it was pretty funny.

Will Ferrell and Danny McBride were just hangin' out and being filmed

Were you perhaps dropped on your head as a young child....more than once?

Joking. I know humor is subjective. I normally like or at least can tolerate Ferrell, but he had to know he was in a stinker with this one.

The ending was just dreadful. Most of the jokes were in the trailer.

OH and back to the issue of the kids at the movie.....good thing you left before the scene where the raptors rip an ice cream truck guy into pieces.

When I went to watch it, I actually asked the ticket taker "Whose arse do I whip if this movie sucks?" He didn't answer me.

My girlfriend brought her neices to see "Imagine That" while I was watching LOTL. 20 minutes into it I left the film and went get a Daquiri and play in the game room until their movie was finished.
