well the whole inebriation part plays a role in that. normally i dont remember anything that has happened up until halftime. so of course this means all the hot chicks.

I usually tailgate with a few good friends that I typically see only a few times of year outside of football season...damn nice to be able to kick back with them, do some grillin and drinking without having to hear a singlewife or girlfriend nagging ....

It's all about the anticipation of the match up (as mentioned before) and the game itself. I spend the entire day having drinks with good company and counting the minutes till kickoff.
But NOTHING tops the experience of being in Death Valley at twilight on a hot, Louisiana Saturday Night, feeling the electricity during pregame

Sitting around with your group of people eating and enjoying yourself but you can tell everyone has that sense of urge to get the game going. I just like how everyone gets that edge like its gametime.

The benefits of a wedding reception (drinks/food/meeting up with old friends you really should do things with more often), but you get to look forward to the game instead of having to sit through a wedding.

Watching the band from Tigerland coming marching down the street, seeing all the games on the TV's and thinking, "I'm about to see the Tigers LIVE", seeing the players get off the bus, seeing the helmets come out of the tunnel, explaining to my little one that it's purple and GOLD, not yellow...
