What team has the best defense next year after florida ?
We know that florida is number one in defense but who is after them?

again OU will probably be the worst defense in div 1... possibly in div 1 history...sorry bowl subdivision history

OU will have a good defense. They normally do. That's no surprise. But LSU has a lot of talent. We had talent last year that was poorly coached. Those coaches are gone and I expect this defense will be the most improved in the conference and maybe the country. On top of the talent we now have a top flight DC in Chavis. I believe one of the things that will help this defense will be the best running game in the country via a mobile Jordan Jefferson, 4 returning RB's (all very good) and the most explosive freshman in R.S. in the nation.

To bad they were in the championship last year and only lost 2 seniors on defence last year. They have a DT that could go first in the draft. Plus the 2 hurt MLB are back that did not play in the championship game. How soon we forget!

The chances of OU playing defense week in and week out are about the same as ouforlife formulating a complete sentence without grammatical errors.

Texas will probably be REALLY solid next year on Defence.

Va Tech lost a ton of defence from last year.
OU will be alright on defence not spectacular.
Texas could be solid on defence. They have a great secondary and a first round LB/DE that should be solid. I don't know much about their DL.
As much as it pains everyone, Ole Miss could potentially have a good D, especially if their CBs step up. I don't think they will be top in the country, but solid nonetheless.
Ohio State and Penn State will be strong at D in the Big 10 as always.

Meh, I expect the usual: Florida, Southern Cal, Oklahoma, Ohio State, Bama, LSU, Virginia Tech and Miami to all have stout defenses.
