Someone posted this a couple of weeks ago. Its a dubious list. The Grape at #1 is suspect. They may have a great burger but the Grape is a Wine bar/ Bistro and only serves their burger on Sundays and lunch Monday.

First time I've seen this list. Thanks
but where's the Angry Dog?

I'd almost rather Southwell's. I was very unimpressed with Beck's Prime.

Angry Dog is in Deep Ellum on Commerce I think. Right across the street is Twisted Root Burger which is better IMO.

My bad - I meant where is it on that list. haven't eaten there in a number of years, but it was my favorite burger in Dallas.

I miss Snuffer's cheese fries.

if Christian's Tailgate doesn't even make the list, then i question it's validity.
besides Max's Wine Dive, isn't shite. I've eaten there numerous times, trying different things....and every time i felt i over payed and was dissapointed.

Sister and brother in law ate at Burger Fresh #13 in conroe a week ago, and said it was damn good. I ate at southwells this past weekend and thought it was a pretty good burger.

All kidding aside, Houston's (in Houston
) has the best hamburguesa in the city.

That's another thing that makes this list suspect. Angry Dog is considered by many if not most to be the best burger in Dallas. Yet it doesn't make some yahoos list.

Best 2 i've had in Houston:
Tex-Mex Jalapeno burger at Niners.
1/2lb Classic at Christian's Tailgate, only when they cook it medium like I asked damnit.

Max's Wine Dive paid their way on to this list.
I've eaten there 3 times and each time left thinking the food was average at best.
ETA: I'll say this again, just because a hamburger cost $20+ doesn't mean it tastes good.

Another Dallas burger joint I used to like was Chip's on Lovers' Lane at the Tollway. It didn't make the list either.
