To clarify things on Bush for some of you

I've heard many posters on here defend Bush by claiming that "He's not an inside runner, and we shouldn't run him inside. Just let Pierre run inside and Bush outside."
Do you people honestly realize how retarded this thought is? Hmmm.. let's see. If Bush is in the game, the defense will know its a run to the outside.
The reality is this would destroy any shot at a running game Bush has. If he doesn't try to run inside at all, teams will just crash the outside and shut everything down. Even worse, this would destroy screen plays/swing passes since there will be no need to respect the middle of the field with Bush there.

My point was that if Bush is by himself in the backfield, its either a pass or a run to the outside. This limits things if you simply only run Bush to the outside. He needs to become a competent runner in between the tackles if he wants to remain a RB.

Well, I guess Pierre Thomas has been getting through 3 people in the backfield because he's had no problem having a high YPC since he became a Saint.
