Tents already up on campus...

Got a call from my buddy this morning and he said there are tents already set-up all over the place. Evidentally some people decided to set up three tents where we normally put our tents. We have been tailgating in the same spot all year and we usually arrive around 6:00am. No one usually tailgates directly beside us, so I dont know who it could be. I try to obey the Friday 5:00pm rule, and I am just getting some input as to what you would do when you arrive at 5:00pm. Collapse them and put them off to the side? Move them to the other side of the trees?

I am pretty sure you cant get inside of campus to setup before 4:30 on Friday.

Kinda a dipshit thing to do if you ask me. It's not that hard to set up your area a few feet to the right and have a good time tailgating WITH them than being an arse and moving their shite and have them glaring at you the entire time.

Yeah, I dont mind tailgating next to the ppl. We might put their tents little closer together so everyone's stuff can fit in the spot.

Yea, that's not on the "inside" of campus....you can setup pretty much anytime right there.

Very sensitive ppl, I didn't plan on collapsing their stuff, I was asking for input guys. We are very easy tailgaters to get along with.

now...as discussed in the tread yesterday...if said people don't show up until 10 or 11, i say it's fair game to move their tents IMO

Best solution = don't touch their stuff and when they finish setting up, ask if they wouldn't mind giving you room.

This. The rule is there so that people aren't interfering with LSU students/faculty during the school week. If they are setting up off where there are no classes to speak of, then I'd just make due with what's available.
