Can we find a better punter in the general student population? I'm sure there is a soccer player that can punt the ball farther than 18 yards.
He had that one booming punt, and has had a few this season, but I would rather a punter that consistently put it 40 than one that puts them 50 and 18.

We have a good one. Drew Alleman. But you know such talent won't get on the field when it's needed.

His first punt was bad..but after that he was freaking great. How many return yards did UF have? Keeping Brandon James from making a big play is very important..and he did that.
What is Helton's "NET" punting average for the year...that's the most important stat for a punter...
And what is his national ranking in that category? I dont know it actually...im just curious. I bet it's pretty respectable. How many punt returns have the opponents had? I cant think of many. Ill take 7 or so less yards on the punt if the PR has to fair catch. In the long run that will be better.

For the ENTIRE year...
Opponents have returned only 4 punts for 30 total yards.
LSU has returned 15 for 206. There is something to be said for hang time.

i doubt that 14 is TB...or touch back. Im pretty sure that number represents FC...Fair catches. Im guessing he has maybe 4 or 5 TBs.

Helton has been doing well and his average is really good if you think about how bad he was against Washington. Also, he has put a few punts inside the 10, one was inside the 5 against Georgia.
