Tailgate Thieves

Anybody else noticing the rampant thievery of tailgate goods during game time?? It is out of control over in the free lot on the old front nine.
We are thinking about setting up with Paintball Guns in "Sniper Mode" as a Vigilante Force to combat these assholes.
DO NOT LEAVE ANYTHING UN-ATTENDED...........just sayin
Any other parts of Campus experiencing this???

We were out tailgating so long for Florida that I really didn't feel like cleaning up my ice chest and crappy table and put it in my car. We left them out there as a test of fate, and of course they were both stolen.
ETA: This week there were no chances taken. Only thing left at the tailgate was a full garbage can.

It has totally gotten out of control. I am even seeing icechests with padlocks on them, so others must be going through the same experience. Luckily, our main tailgate has folks watching on TV for the big games so we can leave our stuff out.

I was actually day dreaming about doing something while picking up yesterday. We tailgate under a huge tree on the old golf course. It would be real easy to climb and hide in the tree. Your paintball idea is pretty good.

Us too, right by the canal. We had a guy stay at the Fla game and he watched TV with a party next to ours. Dude ran thieves off the entire time.

I know it's petty, but as we were walking away from our tailgate I turned back to check on something, and some stupid arse lady was looking through some food we left out. It was just chips and whatnot, so I decided to just watch her from a distance. She carefully went through what we had, then looked around, grabbed a half eaten bag of Zapps and came out from the canopy. I promptly busted her then, not b/c of the chips, but for being a dumbass.

Beware if you park at the abandoned Exxon at Highland and Rosevelt north of campus. If you get there real early there is a crazy neighborhood brother who collects your $20 bucks but he has no connection with the operation of the lot. Folks were chasing him down Highland back into the hood yesterday to try to get money back.

We have long locked up Ice Chests and food we would like to keep, but never had stuff like tables, Propane Bottles, Chairs, etc. dis-appear until the last couple seasons. One guy was actually trying to steal our damn BBQ Pit last game before my bud ran them off...........
