Heard on a talk show yesterday that Alabama hasn't had holding called against it's offense since the South Carolina game. If this is true then they have one of the most disciplined o-lines in history. Does anyone know of a site where this can be verified?

That seemed to be the word, and that the two (2!)holding penalties they did get this year were on special teams, so the offense had a big goose egg. Go figure !
Wonder which conference the officials will be from for the game, PAC-10 maybe ? Might get interesting if they do start calling those.

Each school's website has the game notes and statistics.

I can believe this. With our great offensive line in 2007 opponents were only called for holding 7 times that season. The SEC does not call holding as a rule.

It's hard to believe. Is there a site where this can be verified?

There were at least 4 missed holding calls on the screen pass to Ingram that picked all the yardage in the SECCG. Look at the tape.

Its disgusting. I realize they need to let the teams play, but there isn't an offensive line in the country that doesn't hold in any game.

If there was ever a stat that gave a good example of Bama getting by with the refs, this is it.

If true, it would be interesting to know how this compares to the rest of the league.

Good then, maybe they made up for it in other areas.
