No need to for a while since Crowton is staying. We'll have to wait at least a couple of more years after we go through a revisit of the 90's with our Athletic Department.

Yes, the South endzone. That's why they didn't put a big new video screen on that scoreboard.

ETA: Because it would have been taken down in a few years when they connect the upper deck. Which would have wasted a lot of money putting it there.

Check out the ticket board before the McNeese game next year and you will get your answer.

At this point I find it pretty difficult to believe TAF would belly up to the bar to finance this.

yeah with the current economic downturn and the next couple of subpar years we are going to have to endure under Leslie, these plans are going to be put on hold for some time.

We can't afford to get rid of Crowton, so how in the hell can we afford to expand Tiger Stadium. The seats will get emptier through next season if we have 7-5 season.

They aren't going to do anything within the next couple of years. I'd say talks of connecting the South EZ in the next 5 years will get very serious. The number one priority should be little things around the stadium. Fixing the dorms into something would be a great long-term project, but at least replacing all the crappy windows should be done asap. There are also plans of making the outside of the North EZ (the area between the PMAC and the stadium by Mike's Cage) into some sort of nice looking plaza area.

At this point for the McNeese game if we have 50K in the stands it may be plenty.

they better expand the play calling and playing time for impact players before expanding the seating capacity of the stadium...

If that game is close like Tech was this year, it'll be empty by half time.

No, but some of us have seen great coaching and teams in Tiger Stadium as well as horrible coaching and teams. We have seen us rise and fall and we are in a decline now. I hope I'm wrong, but this is just so damn familiar from what I've seen in the past.

Even in the Hallman years I was always the optimist but I've learned to recognize another Hallman and Dinardo and what I see on our sideline is in that category.

We need to get our football program going in the right direction before we expand a damn thing.

The main reason to expand is more club seats and more suites

nah, it's not that bad... yet

but really, the focus for LSU needs to be about what we put on the field, not about what surrounds it...

i could careless if we played in a parking lot every saturday, if we dominated everyone we played like we used to be able to do, people will show up...

ComNet and LSU are in talks about replacing the South Endzone scoreboard for next year.

Thats the ultimate plan way on down the road, but until our idiot state legislatures stop draining money from higher ed and forcing the university to take all the athletic money, those plans are a long way down the road.

Why expand? Hell.....sell season tix by the half......after the stadium clears at halftime, let the second shift in. Double the money coming in with the same amount of home games. There's the fix!
