I would have thought that a team who has pefromed like they have the last decade would have more classy fans. I thought there would be some intelligent coversation on there but most topics are about Katrina or how the Saints are dirty.

Immature homer fans frickem all. We will get to Manning he is as fast as a tree stump. Saints win this game on shear determination and want.

most of them seemed pretty level headed to me, sans the first couple

Quite a few of the posters said there was no dirty hits on Favre and that it was just smart football. I do think because of all the espn hype about favre getting hit late that the officials will be watching the saints like a hawk and will call them for hitting Peyton the pussy.

Also didn't see any katrina references in that thread

Sounds like Williams plan has worked.... get other qb's to fear us...

this guy sounds logical at least

I don't think the Saints DL did anything illegal. The only two that they called were even questionable as it is. Especially the hit on Favre on the reverse (the same happened to Brees, and there was no call.) Hitting a QB just after he releases the ball is good defense. It's not dirty or unfair or unethical. If you decide to blitz all game, you're telling your guys to go after the QB. Should we just remove blitzing from football? Is anyone going to complain if DCs tell their corners to try to push and hit Randy Moss on the line every play? The Saints have found a good way to stop elite QBs. If you hit them, they still get rattled. The Saints will allow a few 10 yard completions if it means 15 or so hits on the QB. And that's smart.

They are just scared, they know what happens if we actually get to Manning and he got hurt

Seems it's almost impossible for them to have a true passionate type fanbase that would compare to our's.
Any city who got their team by literally sneaking it away in the dead of night from underneath a storied passionate fanbase, to their drab midwestern city, could never equal one who has been the only home to their team for 41 heartwrenching years.

the only a-hole on that topic linked is that last guy

Like you rattled that stalworth Freeman fom the Buc's? Cough *Suck*Cough or how ya got after Tony Fagmo? What about Dellhome? I promise ya they ain't no Peyton Manning.
Having been there and having a cousin who lives there, they should have bulldozed that entire ****hole into the ocean, minus the French Quarter. You know why birds fly upside down over Nawlins? Nothing there worth sh!tting on
I can't wait till the Colts beat your asses to death. I personaly don't care about your feel good story. I don't live there and as far as I am concerned, your just another foe to vanquish..............

same here, one guy even offered up an apology to Greg Williams.
It does come off looking bad after the hits both QB's took, but they were all legal hits IMO. the only questionable one that should have been called was the low hit, simply because they deemed it a penalty earlier in the year, intentional or not. He was pushed from the back so i figured thats why it wasn't called. Other than that Warner was trying to make a tackle and Farve was trying to make a block on a defender, so i see no problems

Told you guys McCray and the Saints are going to get the dirty play rap. Heard Dan Patrick yesterday trying to get a comment out of Rodney Harrison about it...thankfully Harrison blew it off. ESPN mentioned it in a piece just after the game. But expect more of the "Saints play dirty" talk over the next two wks.

You know, they all focus on the beating that Warner and five letter F-word took, but they forget that the defense intentionally held up on beating Warner further once the game was in the bag.
I specfically remember two of our defenders holding up Warner to keep him from falling down on one play in particular.
