its hard for me to think of a game where he played well the entire game and not just a couple of series.

has there been any game winning drives with a TD pass yet?

Auburn this past season.

He did carelessly fumble into the end zone before the half, but overall, his best performance, as well as the offense's, IMO.

vs. Auburn 2009?

quote:

Coming off the bye week, LSU starting quarterback Jordan Jefferson was efficient under center. The sophomore completed 21-of-31 passes for a career-best 242 yards and two touchdowns. He also scored on a 15-yard run in the first quarter, while his only mistake was a fumble into the Auburn endzone in the second quarter. At least three of Jefferson's passes down the field were dropped by open receivers.

i thought he played very well in the washington and auburn games, but that was with a tiny version of the playbook and a lot of wrs just out talenting the other team.

but i thought he played really well in the alabama game before he got hurt.

He played fine most of the season. B- overall.

Had you told me his statline before last year, I would've said we should've gone 11-2/12-1. He did his part.

JJ took 34 sacks in only 296 passing attempts. Thats a very high sack rate. 17TD passes wont get a team 12-2 unless the defense is dominating.

no doubt he was amazing in that game for a true freshman. Shows what he can do when he has a little time and a running game and a good game plan. The sky is the limit for him. Can't wait for the season to start.

JJ played fantastic in every game last year that the offensive line played average or better.

the drop passes and the incredible catches evens out. it is just that as LSU fans, we pay detail attention to every play and will harp on the drop passes. almost every QB has to deal with the drop passes, especially at the college level.

I can tell you this, he is a very cautious quarterback(probably because he saw gun-slinger Lee ma soo many misteaks)...But i thought his pocket presence was horrible and his throwing motion is not very quick. But PEACH BOWL or BAMA game last year.

Chick bowl, hands down. While he still had confidence and an Oline.

Matt Flynn cumulative season Stats 2007 (LSU BCS National Champions 12-2):Matt Flynn 12 Games Started 125.76 Efficiency 202-359-11 56.3 percent 2407yds 21 tds 71 lng 200.6
yds/game

Jordan Jefferson 2009 cumulative season stats: 12-12 137.2 Efficiency 182-296-7 61.5 percentage 2166 yds 17 tds 58 lng 180.5 yds/game.

The stats are nearly the same yet JJ had a better passer rating, and percentage and nearly as many touchdowns with 63 fewer attempts. Our problem wasnt QB play, it was the nearly silent running game.

Best game for JJ was the Washington game. Start to finish.
