I am not down on the pick for a couple of reasons... The jets picked a CB as well and they have revis, cromartie, and now wilson. Great cover corners allow u to Blitz and stay aggressive. Our run defense is center around run blitzes.

However with that being said, this (wishful thinking) may mean that we are dealing for haynsworth and possibly even McIntosh? Drafting the best available CB would make more sense when viewed in that light!

Has someone in the saints administration ever mentioned any interest in getting Haynesworth? Im trying to figure out if this has a ligit possibility of happening or if this is just a bunch of talk between fans.

AFAIK, it's fans only.

However, the Skins are running low on teams willing to take him since Tennessee claims to have closed the door while Detroit has Suh and just blew some picks to move up and grab Best.

If they're serious about moving him, we're one of the teams who'd definitely be interested at the right price.

I REALLY want to see this. They surprised us with the Robinson pick, so now it's time to give us one more surprise

We all know the FO wont let the glarring needs at OLB and DT go untouched. Although, there is great depth at DT in the draft.

supposedly we weren't interested before. But after tonight who knows. I wasn't to excited about it before, but now I think it would be the best use of our 2nd or Brown

originally wash had a need at OT and therefore a great trading partner with saints dealing brown ... however the redskins are rumored to be asking for a 3rd rounder????

That was before his $21 million bonus was paid. Now, he has a VERY manageable 3 year, $16 million contract
