what was the crowd like at tthe LSU-UL softball game?

Gerrard (sp?) said ealier this week, she wanted majority LSU fans in the stands. Early in the week, she basically called out the LSU fans saying last time they played here it was 75% red.

Didnt I see a stickied thread at the top of the page warning people to not use that type of talk when talking about the softball regional or you will be banned?

I didn't see it. I don't want to offend anyone, but that is the truth. I am not bashing, just saying. Don't want to be banned though.

It was my first LSU softball game and here are my thoughts:
1. I have never come across a marshal like the one i came across at this game. I was walking around to check out the new park and went by the grand stand and he was the most rude prick i've ever met. LSU, if you are looking to boost your softball program or actually get people to go the these games, you need to do something about these marshals. (not just in softball)
2. I wanted to give softball a try just because I enjoy LSU athletics, but lets just face it, Softball is just not enjoyable to watch in my opinion.
Between the prick that thinks he's hot stuff and the boredom of the game, i will not attend another softball game again.

Some of them have struggled with that for years. Kinda pitiful really. I'm starting to feel sorry for them.

Sorry for who? LSU fans or UL-L fans?
As an LSU fan and an one-time student at USL, I have no problem with it. The official name of the school is the University of Louisiana at Lafayette and is referred to nationally as this. Who I feel sorry for is the UL-L fans who desperately want to be at a status level athletically with LSU even if it's just with a name and a good Softball program.
...and FWIW: I think it was a great idea for whoever came up with the "Louisiana's Ragin Cajuns" slogan. It met the criteria set forth by the Legislature and was a great marketing idea.

i love how the ull fans pour in in droves after they beat lsu in senior badmitton and the whole conversation denegrates to we are ul, no your not, your ull. pretty pathetic from the lafayette fans
