I highly doubt it.

The only way we host a regional is if we win the SECt.
The NCAA likes to spread things out more than they did a decade ago and there are 16 sites, meaning the SEC will get 4 maximum. The ACC is going to have 3-4, themselves...and the Big 12 will likely have 2.
Florida, SC, Auburn, and either one of Ole Miss/Arky/Vandy will grab the other slot.
We finished basically 5th in the west, only ahead of State. We beat no one worth a damn OOC. We are a 2-3 seed in someone else's yard.
*Also, a losing record in an SEC that was far from dominant will NOT get you a regional. It's our backs against the wall from this point forward.

Oh and the biggest reason we will not a host a regional even if we win 3-4 games in Hoover:
State (23-33, 6-24 SEC) won its first game over an SEC West opponent all season and avoided its fifth consecutive three-game series sweep in the league.

It wouldn't surprise me if we didn't host after a secT win......but it wouldn't surprise me if we did either.

Agreed. MAYBE get to host as a 2.

There is NO way we get a 1 seed in a Regional. I see us getting a lower 2 seed (I know they aren't ranked, but I'm inferring we will go to someone else's park who is a top 8).

To actually answer the question, it would be from Friday, June 4, to Monday, June 7.

If they win the SECt, I think they have an outside chance of hosting. RPI would be top 20, and that could be justified considering the history of fan support. MORE IMPORTANTLY, the selection committe puts a lot of focus o keeping as many teams as possible within 400 miles to keep them from having to fly to a regional site. If southeastern or NE St. gets the Southland bid, Southern gets
the SWAC bid, that would put that would put 4 teams with LSU and the Cajuns not having a regional within driving distance as Ole Miss has fallen out of hosting in most recent projections. Austin and Ft. Worth are closest projected hosts, both over 400 miles for LSU, ULL, and
SLU. It is an outside shot, but STRANGER things have happened since the committee put so much focus on the 400 mile traveling distance.
