The drive will take you no more than 6 hours unless you're driving some 18-wheeler or something, 6 hours 20 minutes is way too long

To Birmingham from BR: my record is 4 hours and 45 minutes (I would NOT recommend this).

Average time for me is about 5.5

Not really 2 full days. By the time they get there, it will be 9 or 10pm tonight.

So really only one full day before.
