Ways to improve soccer

Eliminate offsides. Would get rid of these 0-0 yawnfests.

If you eliminated offsides, it would be terrible. People would just camp out infront of goal. It would be verrrry boring. Imagine if a defender could just stand by the qb and tackle him right when he gets the ball.

They could do like basketball and have 5 second violations if people just hung around in the box too long.

Be more like defensive 3 seconds though. You can stay in as long as you like as long as there's action, but you can't just camp down there.

your idea is dumb but I think no offsides in the penalty area is a better idea.

I'm not going to lecture about the beauty of the game or anything, but eliminating offsides would be similar to allowing holding in the NFL just to increase scoring and reduce the delay caused by penalties. Just one change in the rules would change the game completely in both cases.
