I had sushiyama the other day and it was as good as anything I have had in br.
The facilities were average, but the rolls were good.

This.
And Mr. Oi is the most knowledgable sushi chef in town. Almost all other head sushi chefs in B.R. now learned from him or has worked under him.

Yama and Waka and Ichiban and Koto..all have some roll or two that they do better than the rest.

I like Wahada. At least, it's close by. I stick with the ~$4 rolls there.
Best buffet is Nine Dragon's lunch buffet IMO, though I prefer their Szechuan Chicken dinner meal.

Had lunch there a couple Fridays ago. Really fresh fish, although I thought the rolls were a little on the large size, even for my big mouth.
Of course, I really enjoyed the experience more thanks to one of the hottest ladies I know serving us.

Haven't been here yet but heard good things. I'll have to try it out some time. Sushi Yama was very very average the 2 times I went. I like Ichiban.

Not really a big sushi connoisseur, but I have always been content with Koi right off of campus.

Same here. Had it last week and was totally depressed at the downfall of the quality.

Sushi Yama
But did anybody else have really bad experiences w/ the service? I was so put off by the rude, inattentive waitress that I haven't been back even though I liked the food.

I wouldn't feed that garbage to my dog. Easily the worst sushi I have ever had. It was terrible the first time I had it and it was even worse when I made the mistake of giving it a second chance.
