Ruth's. I wasn't impressed with my experience at Sullivan's my one trip.

I can't help you compare Sullivan's to Ruth's Chris, but each time I go to Sullivan's I get more and more disappointed. Unfortunately my parents really like it for fancy occasions and when it's a free meal who am I to object

Sullivans

IMO most overrated steakhouse chain EVER.

How the frick can they justify seriving USDA Choice steaks at the same price as other restaurants serving USDA Prime? The ONLY thing I care for about the place is the ringside bar. Its owned by the same group that owns Lone Star and its only their middle tier steakhouse. But they charge the same prices as Ruths? I just dont get it.

Steak only - Ruths (though the horseradish taters at Sullivans are pretty boss)

Overall - Sullivans

Last time I was at Sullivans, I was waiting for a table, and a man walked in with a hat. The hostess immediately asked him to take it off. Last time I was at Ruth's, I was seated next to an entire table full of affliction T-shirts, and backwards/sideways flatbill hats.

I've never been back to Ruth's.

Baton Rouge-

1st Team
-Ruth's (all alone)

2nd Team
2-Ruffinno's (distant 2nd)

Honorable Mention (In no particular order)
-French Market Bistro
-Flemings
-Primo's

I've only been to Stroube's once, but I hear good/bad from others...

it is very good. it hink it has something to do with how cold they serve that salad. it really is the best wedge ive ever had, but i dont go to a steak place for lettuce and bleu cheese. im actually indifferent because i usually dont pay. sullivans is less stuffy and has a nicer ambiance. ruth chris is a more traditional steak menu.

So you're saying you order the steak at the restaurant, but eat the meat when you get home?
