Media outlets are reporting this, and we all saw Miles with the multi-colored laminated cheat sheet on the sidelines (First time I ever recall this).

If so, then I don't see how Crowton survives the season. This is a public castration of a coach, in the 4th year of his tenure, in the second half of a game against VANDERBILT. Furthermore, it is an admission by Miles that the offense is a mess and radical change is needed.

Something was different in the third and especially the fourth. More power I formations. Easy throws for JJ. Jj qas throwing to side blitzing the backs. Etc... JJ also seemed to run with alittle more purpose on the option and QB draw. One particular QB draw in the third showed great vision and confidence. Should have been 4 touchdowns in that half.

And the play calling after the Jefferson interception made sense.

This could be evidence of a head coach taking control and correcting the problem with his team or at least sending a message that things are going to change. Now a few personnel changes may really send a message.(like sitting a QB on the bench for a few series)

The play calling made alot of since after that interception. It was very fluid. Did JJ throw to his tight end at all last night?

I agree that Miles may be sending a message, but what's the message? Crowton, i'm taking over and your arse is outta here?

I'm still not convinced it was Miles. Reread your post. Now think of Les Miles. Makes sense?, very fluid?.... hmm...

I hope the message is keep it simple stupid. Build their confidence with the short game.

Yes I know its weird to say fluid and les in the same sentence. But for whatever reason, the power I and simple formations worked. Everyone looked real comfortable and appeared to play with confidence(like they understood the play calling for a change). This was not apparent in the first few quarters.

What's scary really is that Miles at Okie State was the play caller..........the same play caller who tossed 7 Td passes to Rashan Woods in 1 game........an NCAA record.

When the Tigers ran 7 run plays in a row, I immediately thought, "There is no way Crowton is calling the plays!"

If Miles didn't take over the play calling, someone else did.

I hope this means Crowton is on his way out! As I've said in a 1/2 dozen other posts, Crowton is Mile's Tepper... he needs to get rid of him before he loses his job.

I thought Billy Gonzalez was supposed to be the savior for LSU's now 2 seasons + 2 games of a totally anemic & confused offense?

That interception was the worse throw I have seen him make. The touch throws are not there with this kid. it is pretty simple.

Based on what we heard on here from belowpar.... I think Miles would have been more than happy to be Crowton-free this year, and started in that direction. But between $$$ and not having a solid "great hire", it didn't happen. IMO, Crowton started this season on a short lease, and Miles may have choked-collared him in the second half last night.
