Sports Illustarted article on LSU

Talke about Jefferson doing better in the UNC game and other things. But the thing that got me pissed with the last paragraph. It said as Miles left the field in Atlanta and LSU fan stood in the corner (after the win over UNC) and yelled "your gone,Miles! You're gone! Just quit now! The coach just kept his head down with Jefferson walking behind him
What a complete douchebag. One of our own. Keep that shite to yourself. It's look bad on our fanbase. I'm not happy with Miles but c'mon

Gawd damn i hate our f'n fanbase. It was probably the bag of douche that had "Fire Les Miles" on the back of his SUV

That's the media for you. Anything negative is made into sensationalism. Never mind the 24,999 OTHER Tiger fans there, let's just anoint one idiot as the spokesman for the entire LSU crowd at the game.

As rotten as that is...way back when, Yankee fans used to boo Mickey Mantle and Philly fans booed, cursed, etc Mike Schmitt. Sad but true it goes with the territory.

It's going to take another coach coming in and LSU finishing 3/4/5 in the SECwest EVERY year along with the top Louisiana recruits all going to play at Alabama, Auburn, FSU, Nebraska and Notre Dame before many fans realize what a truly mediocre coach looks like.

Talk about negativity. Why would expect that to happen? If Miles is fired, it is just as likely (if not more likely) that LSU will hire a good coach who will consistently win championships.

I was at that game, and I don't remember any of this. I am not saying it didn't happen. It just didn't happen where I was. My recollection was that everyone around me was grateful we escaped, and they were very subdued and quiet.
By the way, I am trying to think of when I last read an SI. It certainly wasn't in this millenia. I also find it hard to believe that one fan can be the spokesman for thousands of others. So using that logic, if I said at the top of my lungs after the game, that Sports Illustrated sucks that would be enough to condemn the amgazine.
By the way, I have it from reasonably reliable sources that some of our fans MIGHT HAVE BEEN DRINKING. Yes, ugly and shocking though it may be for all to believe, I think it is true. Perhaps, this fan could have been one of the only five or ten people who was intoxicated at the game. What are college football fans coming to?
