My Question is, Are we really going to go thru this...

We are four games into a season. We have 8 more games to go, plus a possible 2 more games.
THEN we have a whole another season NEXT year and 12 more games. That's 20 more games that this type of cluster frick, this type of negativity, this type animosity that could be directed toward our beloved football program.
Will we survive it ? That's hard to answer. How will this fanbase respond to two more 9 and 4 seasons (possibly) with the talent that it sees it has on the field ?
Can the QB get better ? Sure he can, shite he can't perform any worse. But the fact is he's had 15+ games plus all of two springs to grow as the QB and it just hasn't happened. What has Miles seen that makes him think he can turn that corner ? Sure an example is Jason Campbell. But this kid is not nearly as talented as Campbell. As bad as Campbell is, he still has started what like 4 years in the NFL ? I don't see JJ ever accomplishing that personally.
Now is Lee the answer ? Probably not. But it comes to a point in time when the next guy in line deserves a chance. Just a chance to see what happens. I recall a very mediocre QB Rick Clausen getting that type of chance here before. It's what most coaches would do.
My worry is will this program overcome the next two years and a mediocre 4 years after winning a National Title.
We still have 20 regular season games left on the schedule with these QBs. That's worries me very much.

I think the key here may be that LSU get a new OC for next year.

We will survive. If we get 4 SEC losses this year and next year, Miles may not survive it here.
Just focus on the defense. Even though we are losing Nevis/Sheppard/Peterson and a few others, we are very young and Chavis has a dominant force other teams will have to face in the future. We'll be fine

The defense has to carry us the remainder of this season. If they have bad games, we'll lose those games because we can't outscore anyone.

Are you suggesting we have some alternative at this point? If so, speak up - otherwise you're just whining.

I will not wish an injury on anyone.

To think about what has happened thru just 4 games this year. Now add another 20 games.
Will this program survive ?
Of curse I know it will with the level of talent we recruit. But will it remain one of those 12 schools in the nation that are considered JUGGERNAUTS. Are will we fade into the Georgia category ? Or the FSU category ?

Let's run out and hire a new OC so Miles can just put parameters on the new one like he did Fisher and Crowton.

The point is that we all get it. The offense sucks. Crowton sucks. Miles sucks. LSU sucks.
... unless we beat everybody by 30 ... and even then it had better be a good looking 30.

No, we wont go through this. If we end up 7-5 or 8-4 coaches job's aren't safe this would be the first positive change, maybe not miles but crowton would be gone for sure. Second thing would be Zack Mettenberg georgia cut this four star recruit for disciplinary reasons and is considering coming here next season from juco. I hear he is tearing them up down there 6'5" 240 lbs with a rocket arm and smarts. A few schools are interested, but he has said he wants to be back in the SEC I say come on down. lastly have faith the talent on this time will shine through and fight to win even with bad qb play.

If we lose 4 of our next 8 games GC is gone before the bowl game even and we'll have a JuCo QB starting next season. In fact I'd guess that unless the offense improves enough to be average (which would likely mean 11-0 or 10-1 for LSU this year) that we're seeing the last GC-inspired offense. So next year will be different, or else we're in the BCS bowl game playing for a top 5 finish so who cares.
