Can we agree on one thing regarding Miles?

Say whatever you want about coaching ability but when we're discussing his fate and his future, can we at least keep it classy?
You can argue up and down about his ability or inability as head coach of this football team but you can't really argue against the fact that Miles has been a very classy individual and a great member of this community/university and you have to recognize the fact that he truly loves LSU and I don't think he would do anything to hurt LSU.
Most discussion has been clean and respectful but let's make sure we treat him with the class and respect that he deserves.
You can flame or say whatever you want about me but I just wantd to state my strong opinion on that thought.
I realize that this probably will only bring out the idiots but I know there are enough level-headed and fair people around here to respect/agree with/at least consider what I said.

I agree with you on that.... but he's getting paid 4 million dollars to do a job, not to be a great guy.

I agree 100% but I just hope we can have an educated decent conversation and stay away from some of the classless name-calling and asinine things that some say around here.

Is he being classy when he's sputtering out sentence fragments and picking his nose on national tv?

I think today I heard your wonderful Miles informed his team they must spike the ball to stop the clock from now on.
Can you imagine someone being paid 4 mil coming up with this statement...we have High School coaches with more game knowledge than this OSU cast off!

Are you serious OldIowaTiger?
You're talking about people who's very purpose on this planet is to live life through a college football team. Not talking about being a huge fan, but that every single thing LSU related they take personally to a point of absurdity.
Differentiate between Miles the man and Miles the coach?
What you say...?
Look... Miles needs to hit the road IMO, but if you listened to the radio today some of these people want blood. It's gone waaaaaay over the line of fans wanting change. Some of these people are so obsessed I really think they hate this man's guts, like it's a personal thing, and to them it probably is because outside of LSU they have NO LIFE whatsoever.

But lets not stop there... lets be even classier. Lets class it up.

I agree. I don't expect people to be differentiate between Miles the man and Miles the coach but at least I can try.
I'm just trying to stand up for something that I believe and I believe that it's better to at least try to stand up than not say anything at all. I say what I believe in, that's all.
I just think the honorable thing to do is at least be classy when you are critical and leave the personal stuff out of it. Oh well if you don't agree.

Oh but I do agree, and I admire your honor thing as in the end that is it... That is ALL we have and can leave behind us when we go... how we conducted our lives.
I'm just saying that the majority of these people who take this over the line don't respect honor, and heck, they don't respect RESPECT. They are just little children in big people's bodies and "They Wantie and They Wantie NOW!!!

OldIowaTiger, good reasoning ... but those heads that do not want to acknoledge your true words seem to be filled with something other than reasoning ...

I know......that last part wasn't directed at you. I meant that as a general statement for those that think I'm crazy for voicing my opinion.
We're on the same page.
