If Auburn loses to South Carolina, and perhaps TCU, Boise, or Oregon trip up, can LSU play in the BSC national championship game without playing in the SEC championship game? Just wondering...

there's a very small chance...this past week was the best week for someone ranked ahead of LSU to fall with the matchups...a little tougher now. We'll see. Oregon has oregon state left. There really may be a TCU vs Boise national title if Auburn and Oregon lose. That would be absolutely atrocious.

no doubt about it. If USCe puts together a good game plan, they can beat Auburn, and if LSU wins out, LSU can pass Auburn despite the head-to-head result. LSU will pass Boise, and Oregon can lose one of its two remaining games.

Still think it will be LSU ad TCU, but any guess is just that, a guess/hunch.

yea, it would. also, it wouldn't prove anything. they wouldn't have to beat one of the "big boys".

all we would hear after that is that they deserve to play in the game from now on after beating another shite team.

Yes, but Utah losing to Notre Dame helps us in an effort to be 12-1 and go in front of TCU. Utah is awful and the worst 5th ranked team ever. We HAVE to have oregon lose (kicker for CAL, I'm looking at you!) and Auburn lose to Alabama and possibly, possibly South Carolina. Ideally, Boise loses to Nevada and TCU is the ONLY undefeated team left because their schedule is cupcake city. Then we would be a strong consideration for NC hopes.

It would be worth it to fix what's wrong.

After the Oklahoma debacle years ago I doubt it. There has been an unwritten rule about teams that don't play for their conference championship. At this point it's going to take a 2007+ shakeup to get the Tigers in.

That is just it, there is no written rule so therefor LSU is very much in it. I just can't see them putting TCU and Boise in the NC game. We need Auburn to lose at least one and the same with Oregon and then,
