What's your favorite Ole Miss game(s) ?

Mine is the 1982 one, the Orange Bowl year. Ole Miss had just lost to Vanderbilt (actually,a pretty good Vandy team, but Ole Miss' second in a row to VU), but came to town with an unbelievable amount of confidence and bravado. Lots of tough talk in the paper all week. And,Ole Miss brought at least 9,000 or so to the game.
Ole Miss brought their whole team out for the cointoss and after they won the toss and elected to receive there was lots of pushing and shoving and taunting.
Ole Miss fumbled the opening kickoff and on the first play from scrimmage, Hilliard went 22 yards for a TD. LSU won 45-8 after being up 31-0 at the half and 45-0 after 3. The defense held Ole Miss to minus 50 yards rushing on umpteen sacks.
Sweet win. Then the first win vs Alabama in 11 yrs was the next week.

2003 watching Eli fall on his arse the last play of the game. Have to hand it to the Rebs defense that game. They played well. Intercepted a Matt Mauck pass on LSU's first play from scrimmage for a pick 6, but LSU scratched and clawed to win in the end. Chad Lavalais was an absolute beast in that game!

2000 First game without the old man and the weekend was filled with whiskey and girls. Ohhh yeah and LSU won 20-9 in Oxford.

Very little beats 2003 but there is the 1971 or 1972 game in which Archie was wearing a cast. LSU beat the everliving crap out of him and his surrounding cast of losers like 63 to 17 or something. I was just 10 or so, and it was my first time seeing LSU on TV.

2003 for sure. That game for the SEC West title and hopes for the National Championship.

61-17 in 1971 and LSU still holds the NCAA Record for running back 3 punts in one game. Tommy Casanova 2 and Craig Burns 1. The game was at night on Prime Time TV from Tiger Stadium.

Don't remember the year (about 40 years ago) but my favorite
LSU vs Ole Miss game was when:
BERT JONES tossed a pass to BRAD DAVIS in the northwest endzone on the final play and last second of the game to win.
Tiger Stadium ERUPTED into one of the LOUDEST + CRAZIEST MOMENTS in Tiger Stadium history!! It was BEYOND loud. The sound/noise was so great that it actually "morphed" into something else. I'm not kidding. You could not hear your own screams, nor the people's next to you, but could feel the vibration in your inner ear and head. The sound escalated and remained beyond the point of loud to a sort of continuous "white noise". It got so loud your brain shut your ears off to protect them and the experience you were left with was a sort of inner quiet, vibration and peacefullness! True story and accurate depiction.
This is the game that caused signs to appear on the side of roadways entering Mississippi from Louisiana informing you to set your clocks back 3 seconds.

I have to go with 03 because the stakes couldn't have been higher (in the modern age) for Ole Piss.

The 3 second game was my favorite. It was actually a crappy game all the way until the end!I didnt realize it until we scored but i was sitting right behind Gov Mckeithen. We score and he turned around and we were all jumping up and down like fools. Loudest place i have ever seen or heard. It broke Ole Miss' heart. I loved it! Thanks Jim for the invite to that one!!!

Wasn't that only 2-0 or 5-0 at halftime ?

#2 Ole Miss 0, #1 LSU 7 1958
National champs.
Heisman for Billy Cannon.
When you combine the close score, Cannon's special teams play for the winning TD AND the Heisman, and the fact it was #2 vs #1, it cannot be topped, for my money.

Some good ones were mentioned but the best for me was the "broken arm Archie"
