Does baseball outdraw basketball per game?

If so, is LSU the only FBS school where this is the case? Rice is the only other possibility that comes to mind.

Edit: FBS not FCS

Paid attendance (which in reality is all that matters to LSU), I doubt it. Actual attendance is probably pretty close with baseball outdrawing basketball slightly. What does baseball average? Between 5K and 7K? (I don't know, I go to maybe 2 games a year)

Actual at Basketball is probably 4K to 7K

Million schools are like that. I think Tulane draws more baseball and basketball. Prolly UNO as well.

Well probably a lot of schools in the South.

LSU baseball attendance outdraws many basketball attendances across the country on a per season total basis.

Over the last 5 seasons? I would have to say yes but I don't have the numbers.

Basketball's paid attendance is probably around 5k-8k.

Baseball's paid attendance is what? something like 9k-10k?

lsu's attendance avg for basketball this season was 7100 per lsusports.net. Doesnt say if its paid vs actual but one would assume that its paid.

Anything listed on the website is paid...especially basketball b/c they don't hand students any tickets so they have to count the student section as "full" every game. It's why they don't ever give us an actual attendance number at basketball b/c they don't actually know.

I guess the could go count the students who are there...

might take up 1 hand

That sounds about right. So, yes, baseball outdraws basketball.

Lsu on good years averages around 11k in years we are descent. What kills bball is lack of walk up buys early in season against no name teams.
Baseball starts off with strong attendance and as year goes along is dragged down by no name midweek games.
