Where do you rank him with the greats?

Watching the new show "Feherety", I forgot he won 7 Majors and has 29 PGA Wins....plus many Senior PGA Wins and did not start playing golf until he got out of the Marine Corps...Guy is funny as Hell and is lucky to be alive due to being struck by lightning a couple of times.

Loved on what he thought of Tiger Woods...

Have to put Trevino up there in top 12 all time greats in golf.

Hogan
Jones
Palmer
Player
Faldo
Watson
Nelson

Those are the ones off of the top of my head he's behind. Defintely top 15 though.

Trevino wehn you combine his PGA with Senior PGA wins would be a total of 89 wins....

2 time US Open Winner
2 time PGA Winner
2 time Open Winner

Played in era of Jack, Gary, and Arnold....

Merry Mex has to be up past Faldo in my book.

He is borderline top 10, I would put him close to Watson.

To me he's on a similar level to guys like Phil and Seve. Sort of the second tier of greatness

He's a great guy, and a great gofler. I'd put him pretty close to the top 12, but you could argue some others as well.

Jones, Snead, Hogan, Hagen, Sarazen, Nicklaus, Palmer, Player, Watson, and Woods are all definitely ahead of him. I'd probably put Neslon and Faldo ahead of him too. He's in the same boat as players like Mickelson, Floyd, and Seve, fighting for a spot in the top 12.

Quit looking at video of his damn swing....said it does not needed to be blown up and start over....basically said he is "Tiger Woods". He said all he needed was 15 minutes with Woods to get him straightened out.

By the way, Feherety's show on Golf Channel is pretty damn good...he does not hold back and is straight about his demons.

Gary Player
Bryon Nelson
Arnold Palmer
Lee Trevino

Throw in Gene Sarazen somewhere between 7-12

Right up there. In addition to winning 7 majors the guy owned Jack Nicklaus, not sure anyone else can really say that.

Lee Trevino was the man.

I loved the fact that he said when they were playing for money they would put vaseline on the club face to keep the ball going straight.
