If so, how guickly do they get cars out of the parking lots? Will take take 2 hours from the time the game ends to get to a hotel in Fort Worth or Dallas if I am driving my own car?

They actually had a good system for traffic flow after the Cotton Bowl. However, If you're driving to Dallas from the stadium it may take awhile.

So, would it be quicker to book a room in Fort Worth? Everything is taken in Arlington, of course.

I parked in the Texas Rangers lot for the Saints cowboys game. Which is no walk for a Tigers fan and it was really easy to get out

We were in Lot 12 for Cotton & had no issues getting out quickly after the game.

May I ask where and would I need to bring my .45 if I stayed there?

You are looking at one hour most likely. They usually run pretty quick

Nah, just be sure to take the rims off your car and into the room with you.

Microtel in Arlington, just got finished remodeling, has a pool.

What type of area is it in? who knows. Can't be worse than right around Tiger Stadium!

and FWIW i AM bringing the .45 in the room, but then again I always do.

Parked right in the Stadium parking. First actual lot on the right as you come toward the stadium. We waited for it to clear out a little but it seemed to move alright. Took about an hour for it to start clearing out.

About 3 times. It's not that bad at all. If you wait around after the game for about 20 minutes, it's really easy to get out!

I have not, but I just reserved parking in Lot 3 - pretty close walk to stadium (about 1 block) Figured you are spending that much for flight and hotel and ticket, why not another $27.00.

Arlington is brutal and I would not stay there. Plenty of hotels around downtown Dallas (i.e. Hotel Zaza, W, Anatole, Renaissance) that are nice and there is a lot more to do there than Arlington. Staying in Sundance Square in Ft. Worth would be great but limited hotels.

We stayed and are staying near the interstate, everything is newer and not as rough. I would stay in Fort Worth if you can't find a place in Arlington.

Try and park farther away. Won't save money, but it's easier to get out.

Wasn't bad at all. I parked in Lot 15. They certainly have a better grasp of traffic flow than LSU and BR PD.

Getting in and out of the stadium is very good. They have 15 points of entry.

Arlington can be rough but remember it has 330,000 people so its pretty big and has good parts and bad. anything along the interstates 20 and 30 will be fine. north arlington is nice.

Also Sundance square is about 15-20 minutes from the stadium and is very nice.

Parked in Lot 2 last year. Took about 10 minutes or less to get out. Overall, there are many 4 lane roads leading away from the stadium. I noticed that immediately and thought that was good planning.
