Why isn't Alleva and company taking more heat on this ticket fiasco? They are the ones who made the boneheaded deal to only get a small percentage of the premium seats at Jerry World? Hell this is a marquee game, I bet several other stadiums around the south would have loved to have this game and not screwed the schools over like Jones.

It pisses me off so much I'm just going to stay home and watch it on TV! That'll teach them a lesson!

Trust me TJ, LSU is getting theirs. Recently reported that the university makes $4 mil every home game, and that's up from $1 mil when I was there in the mid 80s, I guarantee you they are making over 4 no matter what seats we are guaranteed.....screw the fans, make enough to self support the athletic department

I'm going to rip my tickets up in protest. We can't stand for this.
Stand up LSU fans. Call Jimmy Ott and Buddy Songy. We must be heard!!!

Not only a screw you to the fans, but Baton Rouge as well. I wonder how much having only 6 home games is going to cost the city.

I'm an LSU fan. I have absolutely no connection to that shitty team in Dallas. I am sitting on the lower level sideline. Not all LSU fans got screwed, just the ones that are too cheap to buy good seats

Ok......I, in addition to many others put in for the $250 seats thinking they actually had a decent amount of these available in the LSU allotment.

Please tell me which other cities would have been able to do this.

Oh, BTW, Atlanta is off the table because their game was already set with Boise/UGA.

LSU getting screwed over in regards to the amount of non-nosebleed seats they received for the game in Dallas.

I fail to see what the ticket fiasco is. Every season ticket holder got at least a portion of what they requested.

The seating chart has been available for months & it's been blatantly obvious that the overwhelming majority of the ones that LSU would be allocated was in the 400's.

Why are people surprised or upset?

If you were willing to pay 250 dollars per, you should have just saved a little extra and I'm sure for 400 you could get in the lower bowl. I paid 900 a piece for 2, and I know "I got raped, I paid too much". But I wanted to make sure I got where I wanted to be in the stadium.

St. Louis isn't in the South...

Houston, New Orleans, and Tampa don't even have a season opening game, so I fail to see how another city in the South could've hosted this one.

It's not like LSU and OR got together, decided to have a game, then shopped it around...

You're not looking at the bigger picture.

Yes, there are 'cities' that could have hosted the game, but no other city, besides Atlanta, actually has an opening season 'big game' match-up.

Therefore, NO other city could've hosted this game.

You really think we're gonna get a team like Oregon to come to New Orleans for a "neutral site" game with no return?

You do realize that there were twice as many ticket requests as there were available tickets? Somebody has to sit in the 400's. I sat there for the Cotton Bowl and managed just fine.
