Quick Gimp question, didn't see answer in 'teach a man to fish'

Been using GIMP for a while, but definitely no expert. Sometimes, when I make GIFs, I get trails and image 'ghosts' throughout various frames. Other times, I don't. Can't seem to figure out why. Any thoughts? Sorry, probably been asked a million times...

There is a well known fix for that, it's called Photoshop..lmao. Just kidding dude. Can't help you. I am a PS throwback all the way to version 7.

Do you have Gimp Gap loaded on your machine. Also My gif.s improved in quality when I started "dithering" the image before saving it (a Rattlehead tip by the way and we all know Rattle gives good tips.) Anyways before saving the gif. click Images>Mode>Indexed>Floyd Steinberg reduce color bleeding (from the pull down menu under dithering. See if this takes care of your problem. If it does thank Rattlehead, if it doesn't by Photoshop, lol.
