Miles was funny. Loves LiL Wayne
Very kind words by former LSU coaches, Saban, Dooley, Muschamp.

Good read

I'm a homer, so I'll bite. Dooley was also very funny!

Petrino is not there to entertain anyone or give a soundbite. After 10 years of Nutt, it's refreshing and welcomed, but I can see how others could find it boring.

Miles and Saban seemed 2 have the most interesting responses. I kno it's a lil odd Miles liked Lil Wayne, but Saban is a Micheal Jackson fan?? Lol Petrino and Chiz seemed to really suck at life. Lol

Did Chizik have to put his personality in the briefcase with the 180,000?

No doubt. Petrino has a terrible personality. He would be the LSU coach right now if it weren't for his blown interview with LSU officials in 2005.

This has nothing to do with his coaching abilities.

I am so glad he did, though. I have always hated him, he just rubs me the wrong way. And he might not be a bad guy at all, he just makes me unfortable. I'm not sure how to describe it. He may be a offensive genius than Les, but I wouldn't trade with Arkansas in a secone. A huge part of college football is the personalites of the coaches. Since players only stay 3-4 years, it's the coaches who become the stars, and to me, Les is just so damned entertaining. I absolutely love that we get to win AND get to witness and appreciate(those of us who aren't too blinded by rantardedness) one of the great, unique characters in college football history.

Valid points...If you lived in Arkansas, or followed Arkansas football you would probably see more than his coaching side....I'll say this...He's no Houston Nutt on the podium...

We've had enough of characters and are glad we have a coach...

Oh, I bet y'all like him. And that's the way it should be. I have a tremendous amount of respect for his ability as a coach, and a more than healthy respect for the program he's putting together in Fayettville. Looks like it might be the most sustained period of success for you guys in a while. And doing it in the best division in the history of CFB. This is really an amazing time to be a fan of a lot of schools in the SECW. LSU, Arkansas, Bama, Auburn, Mississippi State. Ole Miss is really the only team who shouldn't be really fired up about the success and direction of their programs.

Say what you want about Petrino, but he's beat us 2 of the last 3 years with far less skilled players.

Ofcourse The Reveille thinks LSU's loss to Arkansas last year was because we didn't have the talent they had.... lol
