I would like to know the same thing about the type of surgery. Seems like Chad Jones is making more progress than these two!

They have had 7 months to rehab foot and ankle surgery, which should be plenty of time.

Dude, lisfranc surgery, which is what Ivory had, takes more than 7 months. It's a major surgery.

Yeah. My penis reduction took like 16 months to heal, and I don't even run on my cock.

Yeah, I had to get that done too. It was really hurting my back the way it was, not to mention what it did to women. They were scared shitless of it. It just became a problem all around.

Incorrect

A Lisfranc is a major injury to the midfoot. I've had patient's with significant impairment 1.5 years+ after surgery. The midfoot is generally subjected to forces 2-3 times your body weight with activity (with cutting/plantine/etc at the NFL level much higher). You also do not exactly have an overabundance of blood flow to the ligaments connecting the tightly packed bones of your midfoot.

It takes AWHILE

Once again the Ingram pick makes all the more sense. Just glad he was there when we went for him.

this is the major setback with this injury.

There was some thought when it happened that he may not be able to come back from it.

welcome back slumbering saints fans

Ivory said a couple of weeks, but by good to go he said "start running". That's a lot further than most people would call good to go. Lisfrance is serious. The more knowledgeable can enlight.

PT declared himself now 85%

As others said, makes the Ingram move all the more understandable and prudent looking

Depends on how bad the LisFranc fx was. If they just threw two pins or screws in it then he may be able to go soon. But, if it required incisions and more precise realignments then it was obviously pretty bad. Had a patient recenlty with lisfranc fracture/ dislocations all the way across the midfoot.... feel bad for that guy.
