True Blood Episode 9: "Run" Discussion

"Convalescing after her latest near-death trauma, Sookie envisions a world where there's room for both Bill and Eric. Jesus tries to purge the restless spirit out of Lafayette; Marcus enlists Alcide to help him deal with the Sam situation; Bill and Nan Flanagan clash over their agendas; Hoyt asks Jason to make a delivery to Jessica; despite Tara and Holly's misgivings, Marnie plots her next move against the vampires, during a "Festival of Tolerance" event at Shreveport."

Well folks, judging by the preview, looks like I'll be throwing something at the TV tonight. Bill needs to GTF away from her and quite trying to poison her mind with his blood. She was just starting to have a brain again. I hate him.

It's the nature of things with a love triangle. All three sides must be reinforced to maintain the triangle. My main disappointment with Bill is the lack of shrewd strategy as king. I can understand underestimating the witch/Marnie the first time sending Eric alone but since Eric and Pam have been cursed and the bitch tries to kill all vampires by pulling them out into the sun and you respond by pulling your snipers out of the woods in plain sight during a major confrontation? I know, i know. I am pretty sure that Bill set up Eric. It's becoming quite odd that Bill is the only vamp who has come in contact with M/A that has not been put under a spell. How is that possible?

I'm geeked for tonight's episode! 
And I don't get the hate for Bill on here. I will always rather Sook be with him than Eric. I get stuck in my ways I guess. Bill with Sook, Eric mean and a creeper is how I like them.
And PLEASE PLEASE HBO, can we get more camera time for Luna. She is a 10.

I agree with that. New Eric was funny at first before he became a lovesick punk. I want to see him go back to how he was and start fricking some shite up.
Also, we definitely need more Luna. Sam's storylines have been lacking these past few seasons, and we finally have a reason to give a shite when he's on screen. We also need her to balance the ratio of naked women to men. I'm sick of seeing dude arse.
I like M/A as a villain. She's interesting. She's powerful, but nowhere near invincible like previous villains. I don't mean literally invincible, but Maryann and Russell were defeated because the protagonists had a lot of luck on their sides. She also brings a lot of the opposing sides together, which is a good thing because these storylines have gone all over the place for a while now.
Also, we definitely need more Luna. Sam's storylines have been lacking these past few seasons, and we finally have a reason to give a shite when he's on screen. We also need her to balance the ratio of naked women to men. I'm sick of seeing dude arse.

I don't get that. He set her up to be murdered within an inch of her life by the Rattrays! He knew what she was all along because Sookie's cousin told the Queen about her. Their entire relationship was based on a lie from the moment he waltzed into Merlotte's.
Here's a good read from someone who gives plenty of examples of why Bill is a fraud.

Eric is gonna be so pissed when these spells are broken.
Glad we got the whole Mavis and her bebe mystery cleared up. I don't know what the point of that was but I'm glad Mavis got her bebe back. But I don't think we ever found out if the white lover who killed her was related to the Bellfleurs. Or if she said the man's name, I did not hear it. I liked when Mavis removed herself from Laffy and she said thank you to him and he called her a bitch.
Tommy looked like shite the entire episode. I guess shifting into other humans is way more taxing on a shifter than changing into a dog.

I really think that Eric was sent by Bill to the Moongoddess emporium with Bill knowing that M/A was powerful enough to kill him and with the understanding that M/A would not harm the King.
