Primitive Firearm Season

Some know it all at the camp said that he heard 45/70's and 444's could not be used this year for primitive firearm season. Back to black powder! Can anyone tell me if they have heard this?

I usually end up using mine for regular season too. I hunt in a place where my longest shot is probably 50 yards. Great for that. I won't be selling.
