I say young up and comer. Youth, enthusiasm, edgy... who cares if they do well and leave, at least they've won while here.

Bruce Feldman If reports abt Tulane firing Toledo are true, expect LSU asst FrankWilson to be a top candidate. Huge local connections & is a ace recruiter

i would hate this hire fwiw.

If the failed big name HC is Rodriguez, then take him. Otherwise, young up and comer.

What about Houston Nutt?

Are you asking what will they do or what should they do? Two different things, and the AD there is totally inept.

I expect this to be a rehash hire. Coach Fran or something.

You can answer it any way you like.

I guess Tulane is a stepping stone job no matter what, but it seems like a retread would hang around longer than an up and comer. Up and comer that is successful is gone in 2-3 years.

Rich Rod would be a home run hire for Tulane.

We need the same at SLU. We won't win another game in my opinion.

Frank Wilson going to Tulane would be a step down for him

I don't think they do either. With that administration, I'm guessing they get a guy like Les Koenning.

Mike Leach? New Orleans and Louisiana have an abundance of skilled players. Try and outscore 'em.

Yeah Frank Wilson would probably fail as well. Tulane has said they will spend more this time around. I wonder how much more though.

Mike Leach would fit New Orleans well. Will he have better options, of course he will but that would be a pretty good fit.

That would be kind of funny if they hired Nutt because we play them in Nola next year. Maybe they will chant Houston nutt at us.

ETA: my buddy committed to play QB there though so I wouldn't want the qb killa to go there.

Those uniforms and helmets are seriously some of the most underrated ones out there.
