Did everybody freak out this bad after the KY game earlier?

So KY beat WKU 14-3 in the first game of the season. As we've seen, the teams are probably similar, which is why WKU is a semi-successful Sun Belt team and KY is the 2nd worst team in the SEC this year. Against KY, our offense looked like this:
8-21 for 169 yards passing with 1 TD.
46-179 rushing with 3 TD.
348 yards and 28 offensive points. So why are we all shitting bricks about last night's game if the KY game ultimately didn't mean anything when we played FL, Auburn, etc.?

Lee played bad in the KY game and Jefferson didn't throw any passes if I'm not mistaken. That's totally different from Jefferson starting the game, so I would guess the rant is gonna be way worse this week

Common Opponent... UK gained less than 200 yards of total offense against the same WKU team.

I think people were more upset about being #1 and having a target on our backs.
You know, overreacting about the sky somehow falling as usual. Remember the meltdown when Zack Lee chose to take the dodgers deal?
If people would calm down they will realize that things will work out, and they should enjoy the season.
I am pretty sure the people that are freaking out now were the same people saying Miles had us in a downward spiral and they were just being realistic about trends instead of us sunshine pumpers.
