The reason I have no interest in watching it any more

Why u say the owner is a douche?
Posted on 12/7/11 at 9:45 pm to TigersBucs
I think the owner is a douche too. He gets pissed off for the dumbest stuff. This "pick my daughter or your job" crap is freakin stupid. Just shut up and build some guns.

If they just show guys building guns and blowing shite up it would be a tolerable show. This storyline shite makes it unwatchable.

I'm thinking about giving BIG SHRIMPIN' or LADY HOGGERS a try.

It isn't the worst, but I think its shitty that private citizens can buy fully automatic grenade launchers, anti-air guns and all that other shite.

I appreciate the show for the craftmanship. It is an actual business. I could order a gun from them right now. That's more than you can say about a lot of the "businesses" featured on Discovery. The drama is a bit overplayed, but Discovery thinks that is what sells shows.

Moonshiners takes that prize

I watched one episode. They had to decide something and they said instead of playing paper rock scissors they were going to decide it "Red Jacket" style and spent god knows how long having an accuracy contest. Retarded.

Your average citizen isn't going to have the $20,000+ that it takes to buy these weapons, assuming you can find them in the first place. It's also a pain in the arse to wade through all of the paperwork, background checks, regulations, etc.

Wow, so it wasn't just for the show. That is refreshing.

My favorite episodes was the bottle rocket launcher they made on like a Katyusha rocket launcher frame for PMCs off the coast of Africa and the dude who said he was SWCC and looking to add more firepower to their boats with twin mounted M-16s....boats that have M-2s, M-240Bs, Mk-19s, and GAU-17s.

Really? why does it matter?
when's the last time you heard of somebody getting killed by either of these weapons in the continental united states?
It's a hell of a lot less dangerous than just allowing some of the people that drive to drive..
