He's the most reliable in Ag athletics. Along with Zwerneman and then Sandhop.

So I would believe it and that almost definitely means it's Kevin Sumlin.

Gonna be an awkward "Welcome to the Big East" press conference for Sumlin today at UH if that's true.

Most likely Sumlin. Do not want... Hello pass happy offense, hello no defense. Our leaders know next to nothing about football

spare me zachcopp. Sherrill was an offensive coach as well when he arrived at A&M. It's all about recruiting for defense anyway.

quit being a bitch on other peoples boards. Jesus.

No way we are pass happy with our OL the next 2 years.

We will tote the rock. I would like to run an offense similar to Arkansas or Auburn. Equally dominant at run or pass.

Especially next year with a new QB. Im actually warming up to the idea of giving Manziel the ball and scrambling a lot. He's not big but has that quality to where you rarely get a good lick on him

He's just pissed Richt's agent took him to the woodshed with A&M in his back pocket.

For christs sake an empty jet was sent from UGA to College Station

proof or it didn't happen bruh

Georgia athletic director Greg McGarity said he opened contract-extension talks this morning with coach Mark Richt and again shot down rumors linking Richt to the coaching opening at Texas A&M.

“I had a conversation with Mark,” McGarity told the AJC. “He wants to be our coach. We want him to be our coach.”

As for the Texas A&M rumors, McGarity said he had not been contacted by Aggies athletic director Bill Byrne and would have been if A&M were pursuing his coach.

“You don’t waste your time on [rumors] that have no legs,” said McGarity, who added that he has zero doubt Richt will be Georgia’s coach next season and beyond.

“We just know Mark is going to be our ‘ball coach,” McGarity said.

McGarity said today’s conversation was his first with Richt regarding a contract extension. The meeting had been tentatively planned “for today or yesterday” since last week and was not in response to the Texas A&M rumors, McGarity said. It wouldn’t have been fair to the players, he said, to hold contract talks during the season.

He contacted us so no need for us to contact the UGA AD for permission to talk.

It worked for Richt but he is a standup guy do I don't believe he just played A&M. If UGA didn't ante up he was coming.

I don't mind if you don't believe it. I wouldn't have wanted to believe Slocum ever shopped around

Gig'em and Congrats on locking up a good coach

Dint give me false hope

It's $4.25M/yr. Who wants it? Tell your coach to call Bill Byrne or email at BillByrne@athletics.tamu.edu

Ask the Auburn fans if recruiting is all it takes to have a good defense. They have recruited very well on defense but the coaching stinks. Coaching is very important. LSU had a bad defense when we had the 2 coordinators and we were loaded with talent. The newer coaches put that talent to use and look at what our defense has looked like since.
