A honey badger ran up to Alvin and tried to steal his wood he was carrying. The chipmunk said, "Oh you're one of those honey badgers. You take what you want."

Thought it was pretty hilarious.

If the honey badger then ate the chipmunk it would be epic.

eta: that might upset the kids watching, but honey badger don't care.

Doesn't Alvin end up kicking the Honey Badger and send him flying into the air? Another poster had a link with this a few weeks ago and was concerned because of the A on Alvin's shirt and how it could be associated with alabama.

HB eating the star of the show wouldn't go over well I don't think. If I'm not mistaken he did take what he wanted though.

It was kind of random and odd if you ask me. Alvin is just walking and...BAM..there's the honey badger. He takes something, talks a little shite (not literally spoken words) and then disappears never to be seen in the movie again. Like it was randomly put in there for the TM7 reason. I know that's most likely not the case, but it was still cool.

Hmmm. I don't remember Alvin kicking him. I thought he just ran off with what he wanted (although I may have had my P&G glasses on )

It amazes me how people post random honey badger references as if they have to do with LSU football. It's like someone seeing a Jesus reference and posting as if it means Tim Tebow.

Had you EVER heard of a honey badger before TM7?

Exactly. This guy acts like Honey Badgers roam the streets of LA freely, and they are referenced all the time. I'd personally never heard of a HB before it showed up here.

On the other hand...I had heard of Jesus before tebow.

My son was playing Infamous 2 on the PS3 and one of the characters had a jacket with a HB on the back. He's convinced that the game developers are LSU fans particularly TM7!

You do realize that this has nothing to do with TM7 and the references preceded him, don't you?

Beat me to it. The reference has nothing to do with TM7, yet people love posting about when they hear it.

Last night on American Pickers Mike (the skinny one) said "Honey badger don't care" about an animal carving he was looking at in a barn. Later, when given an outrageously high price on something he wanted to buy he said "I guess if I was the Mad Hatter I would pay that."
