Not the best steak if that's what you're hoping for. I'd go to Ruth's or Flemings for the food....if you like chicks and a good bar, Sullivans is better....but that's it.

Dinner drinks and atmosphere you will do fine at Sullivans.

I've had my steak ruined b/c they insisted on taking it back when they saw my steak came out rare (I ordered medium rare). They brought it back to me medium rare but the outside was burnt. Tasted like arse. Now that was only 1 of the 3 times I've had steak there, but it sucks when your $50 steak (cowboy ribeye) is ruined.

I've had better luck with their seafood. They had a swordfish special one day that was great and the scallops dish is pretty good. Good apps. It gets alot of hate on this board though. I've been 5 or 6 times b/c my in laws like the place. I can understand where the haters are coming from, but it doesnt suck. It has a good atmosphere and the manager has always taken good care of us.

Hubby and I had reservations a couple of years ago for Valentine's day. Saw friends in the bar that did NOT have a reservation and had drinks with them. THEY got a table before we did, in fact an hour after our reservation time we got pissed and left. Will not go back even though we have enjoyed the food in the past. There are too many other excellent restaurants in BR to be treated like that.

Good bar specials.. other than that on my list of most overpriced steak on the planet. You pay ruth chris prices for a cut of steak that is choice instead of prime. Those steaks should never cost over 25 dollars.

With the wife, the place to go would be Flemings or Ruths. My parents went to Sullivans before and got a salad with old brown lettuce, and their steaks were not hot and kind of tough.

Any chance any of yall have eaten at Vic and Anthony's? There is one in Houston and Las Vegas and it is better than Flemings and Ruths. Wish one would be around here somewhere.
