Posted this on the OT yesterday. Just looking to see if there is any other viewpoints.

My yard is being invaded by weeds and clover. I have no idea what to do because I will attempt to pull them and they just return a couple days later. I wanna knock these bastards out!

you obviously do not fertilize your yard in the summer. For now use weed b gone.It will kill all that shite in a few days. Dont let it hit any plants. Once the grass comes of out dormancy use scotts bonus s weed and feed

It doesn't look like a problem. The clover is going to die when it warms up. Hit the big weeds with a shot of roundup.

And I'm pretty sure clovers add nitrogen to the soil.

Weed b gone is just a high priced version of 24d.

Yeah, pulling them is pointless. I've used this for years with excellent results for killing clovers. I have a centipede lawn with no issues. It's safe for most other southern grasses (st. aug, bermuda, etc.) Be careful using it in your beds though. It could kill your plants.

Weed Free Zone

I buy my from here on Coursey in BR.

I am sorry I just get aggravated that people buy a herbicide for $10 for 2 quarts when for $40 you can buy enough to mix 200 gallons

but he doesnt need 200 gallons. He just wants something easy, you hook it to a hose and in 5 minutes your done. Dont get all uppity about your weed killers

I just built this house in Oct. and the sod was planted in Nov.

I have no idea what type of grass this is...
is that a bad thing?

looks like centipede to me, if you wanna make sure pick a little bit and bring it to a nursery. Pretty much everyone in South La has centipede or st aug

It's centipede, but you can give your contractor a call to double-check if you want.

Yeah, you should know for sure. The wrong herbicide can kill your grass. Figuring out the grass is the easy part. It's identifying the weeds that is difficult at times. You'll need different herbicides to kill specific weeds (without killing your grass).
