According to lakersground it's likely going to be Beasley and Sessions.
Sessions for a 1st, and maybe the other 1st in place of Blake.
Beasley is really the perfect fit off the bench if his mind is right and Sessions is a huge upgrade over Fish (but I would much rather keep Blake as a backup and never see Fish play again)

c'mon Kupchak, you know you want Hinrich for a 1st/ the Odom exception.

I thought PG was the biggest problem for the Lakers? I remember last year when they acted like Steve Blake would make them awesome.

So the Lakers will loose in the 2nd round of the playoffs as opposed to the first. Great move front office.

blake traded to the blazers again

Solid deal for the lakeshow. Blake has a bad contract and has been a huge disappointment

They should have traded for Dragic. Dude is a baller.

Now watch Beasley finally go off.

Are you seriously hating on this move? Beasley and Sessions is probably the best possible outcome of the trade deadline.
I'm not sure if it's still like this but about a week ago the Lakers were rated to have the worst PG play, SF play, and bench play. This move drastically improves all those areas (especially if they keep Blake and send the 1st round pick)

I like this deal. We lose a PG who has played poorly and gain a PG who should give us a decent boost in the back court. I'm not crazy about Beasley with this team. He's a headcase and pussy, and Mike Brown doesn't exactly strike me as a molder of men. He does provide another scoring threat and is a relatively efficient scorer; hopefully he turns it around.
The two 1st round picks aren't worth a whole lot of value anyway.

I guess the lakers are going take Beasley as Gasol's replacement. I would look for Pau to get traded to the Bulls now

Beasley and Sessions would be nice additions.
LAL has absolutely nothing after their top 3.

Why would the Lakers trade for Gasol's replacement, then trade for another Gasol replacement from Chicago? Isn't the main piece Chicago wants to trade to LA Boozer? frick that.

He's never been a stud, but he has been worse across the board with the Lakers. Shooting, assists, points, minutes, everything.

No way. Beasley is much more a SF than a PF. If they do that than they're even dumber than I think. They may trade Pau but it won't be because Beasley is his replacement.

They can at least play Pau at the 5 and beasly at the 4 with their 2nd unit like they used to with Lamar

To expand on that, if the Lakers traded Pau to Chicago they'd likely get Booz and Deng. You'd have Deng, MWP, Ebanks, and Beasley all vying for time at the 3.
