Is fox soccer plus worth it?

I have dish network and it is $15 a month. I am a fairly new EPL fan... I never followed until this season and now I'm wondering if it is worth it to pick up some extra games when next season rolls around.

no the good games are on espn2 and fsc and you can stream the rest

Does a bear shite in the woods
Hell yes it's worth it, especially to see most games

I called to add the package, and I didn't get it for free but I talked them down to $2 a month.

I'm also thinking it will be worth the $ because they started carrying Aussie rules football this year

Directv but it doesn't matter. Call them and say you want to add the package. Ask how much it is and when they tell you act like $15 is absurd and tell them you won't pay that much. They will then try to figure out how much you will pay for the service, and it's on you to negotiate. I figured $2 was fair enough.

I need to do this. BUT, my boy has FoxSoccer2GO which is pretty awesome so I don't feel the need right now to get Plus.

I watch a lot of soccer, fsc, fsc+ and gol tv. Cant go wrong with that imo.

I have it and I'm glad I do. It's always nice to have another game to watch as an option.
If you have fsc+, I believe you should be referred to as SB rich.

I agree. Absolutely worth it. The only concern may be what re-alignment all US soccer the channels will undergo due to Al-Jazeera buying Serie A and La Liga rights for next year.
If you follow a certain team closely, there's been enough of that club's matches on FSC+ during a season to make it worthwhile only for this.
Serie A is moving from FOX, but I also liked to be able to watch competitive midtable match-ups sometimes instead of "marquee" mis-matches.

I don't follow Serie A as closely as I would like to but I do believe that ESPN3 does a pretty good job of getting games betweeen mid-table teams. I'm not sure if they will be able to sub-license online rights for Serie A next year with Al Jazeera though.
As for me I can't afford FS+ but I don't believe Cox offers it anyways. I've been able to catch pretty much every Villa game over the past 5 years though between FSC, ESPN2/3 and online streams. I think as a soccer fan its pretty much a must to be able to hook up your laptop to your TV though if you don't have FS+.

I really hope that Al-Jazeera has a good plan to keep the Serie A as accessible as it is now between FSC, FS+ and ESPN3.

I get the idea from this board that can be a costly add on in parts of the country. I have it mainly because in NY it just comes with the most basic sports package which you need to even get ESPN2/3 etc. . .

I agree that the computer to TV screen is crucial. I love ESPN3 but sometimes the video can be pretty spotty from my provider.

Bob lob, does cox have espn 3, or any soccer channel other than fsc? I have to get cox at my new place. Lst time i had cox, fsc wasnt even available in hd, and espn3 wasnt available period.

I got to agree with SCH21. Probably not worth it.
