Per Woj, Boston is trying to work their way into the late lottery or higher.

They have picks 21 and 22 to work with at the least, as well as Avery Bradley, Brandon Bass, and JaJuan Johnson.

I don't see that being enough to get the 10 pick from us, but they may be able to swing a three-team trade to get us something we want.

If Rivers is still available, we're not passing on him short of Lillard being there.

I'd pass if it meant getting Bradley plus the two picks.

Me too I hope Boston is crazy enough to do it. We can grab Fab Melo with one of those late 1st round selections for Center help

I guess this is the most appropriate thread for this.

Teams gauging Ohio State's Jared Sullinger believe he won't be selected before No. 20. Despite back problems, there's interest in 1st round.

So a trade back with Boston could get you Bradley, Sullinger and someone else at 22. It's at least worth thinking about depending on who falls.

IF this solves our problems as far as getting a starting 3 and 5, I can live with it.

Getting Bradley means we could look into flipping Jack or Henry, depending if he is intended to start at point or be a combo guard as 6th man.

Getting Sullinger means we now have a big who can score, but doesn't solve our long-term hole at the 5.

That other pick could be used on a 3 who falls like Terrence Jones, Royce White, Moe Harkless, Quincy Miller, Jeff Taylor, etc.

This. I really would love to drop back and get Sullinger. I'm not in love with anyone we look to be getting at 10 (unless Waiters or Drummond fall) and you can't justify taking Sullinger that early.

I don't know what I'd do if we got Avery Bradley, Fab Melo, and Quincy Miller out of the 10 pick.

Seems like Bradley would have to be involved to make it happen. You could even avoid fears with Sullinger by flipping the pick for DeJuan Blair. Then you get two proven NBA reserve scorers.

Take a SF (White or Taylor) with the other pick and a center at 46.

Then you let the SF rookie battle Aminu/Henry for minutes. Try to sign another FA center (Camby, Asik, Hawes, etc) to battle rookie/Smith. Keep your current PGs and look towards 2013

i'd say if we're deadset on taking a center with upside....trade back for an extra pick and get fab melo and another player. this is the draft you would like to have that extra first rounder.

we could build alot of solid role players from this draft

Bill Simmons has managed to convince everybody that Avery Bradley's injury was the reason the Celtics didn't win the championship. Bradley's a good player, but I still don't think he's a starter. He's a really undersized 2 guard who's best role will be as a spark off the bench.

Man I really starting to want us to be in the 20s so we could pickup Quincy Miller.

I actually thought Melo would be a decent pickup at one point, but I just don't think he can be counted on to contribute anything but fouls.

I may be in the minority but I'd love for us to trade back and end up with Terrence Jones from UK or White from Iowa St along with Sullinger.

i never listen or read bill simmons and i would take that Bradley + 2 picks for 10 deal.

my attraction to him is mainly on the defensive end. allow him to guard the oppositions best guard to save EG10 (who is a pretty good defender in his own right.)

I think Bradley and EG10 can play on the floor at the same time.

Small sample size, but Bradley really improved his shooting this year.

There are awful shooters who play good defense all over the league. Plus they'd still have a hole at PG going forward, so he'd have to go to the bench eventually. He's less of a PG than Rivers.
