23% rotten tomato but 88% users liked it

Very different of opinions.

you really think critics would give this movie a good score? I don't expect it to be good at all but even if it's good for a couple of laughs no way were the critics going to do anything but shite on this movie

Completely irrelevant, especially for the time being. They are allowed to vote on it whenever the film is first announced. Wait until it comes out on video to get a remotely reliable user rating.

I've really stopped giving a damn about the RT meter. Most seem clueless about the type of movie they're reviewing.

It's decent, definitely had some laughs. Not as good as the first but better than the second disaster.

It has become cool to hate on these movies.

I expect to go on Monday and drink a beer while watching. Chuckle throughout and get a couple laughs. No more no less.

I just got back from seeing it, I went in wanting to like it.....BUT this movie was horrible, as in total waste of money garbage! At least the 2nd movie had some shock factor that was funny, this one was just lame all-around! Bradley Coop just sleep walked thru this one....don't waste your money

My big gripe with the tomato meter is it doesnt have a middle ground. Its either fresh or rotten. There are a ton of movies that are simply average or slightly above that get tagged as rotten even though the actual written reviews are not very harsh.

There should be a yellow tomato or something for the middle of the road reviews.

I really liked this movie. Maybe because I came into it expecting bad things.

Didn't watch the 2nd, the first is a top 3 worst movie of all time imo.

1st- Cloverfield

2nd- Syriana

3- GI Joe

The Rest

Just got back from seeing it and definitely didn't find it to be horrible. Thought there were a few moments where they tried too hard but overall it had some good laughs. I'd put it somewhere in between the first two but like someone else said, it's different than the first two.
