I'm about 4 episodes in and this may be some of the best writing I've seen on a cable tv show. And I hear it only gets better from here??!

Yeah despite the show being 5 years old, I'm pretty clueless on everything besides the episodes I've watched. When Walt noticed not all of the broken plate was thrown away...intense shite man.
Hoping to catch up to y'all by the time the new season kicks off, but realistically probably not until the end of the month.

I wanna start watching but numerous people have told me the characters are so unlikable its hard to get excited about it even if the story is amazing.

Not true.
Your allegience will change as the show progresses which is one of its better qualities.
You will start off by identifying with one character but by season 5 you will be amazed at how your feelings have changed.

the wife is the only character that sucks. The others are good and most are soooo funny in their own way.
If the characters would so bad then how would they have swept best actor and best supporting actor like ever year

Walt sucks, Marie sucks, Walt Jr sucks, Hank Sucks, Gus sucks, Steve Gomez sucks. Skylar sucks so much she makes the show un-watchable.
The only good characters are Saul, Mike, and Jesse.

I kinda hated the show. I watched a couple seasons on Netflix and havent once really considered trying to continue following it.

walt doesnt suck, he does a great job. Walt Jr sucks but hes not in it that much same goes for Marie. Hank was so funny until a certain poin. Gus is a baller and a solid character. Skyler sucks so bad

i think the phrase "i know it starts slow but i promise the show keeps getting better" is overused but Breaking Bad is the poster child.
ive never seen a show where every season is better than the previous. its unreal. if you're that into it now you might need to take a downer before seasons 4 and 5
