Community is overrated, Abita is meh, and Tin Roof is god awful...

Love Louisiana and its contributions, but the homer mentality for the above mentioned products is insane.

Agree with those. But the love for CC is absurd. It's bitter and really not that good. In Baton Rouge, Tin Roof mania is rampant. Possibly the worst beer on the planet.

Agreed, although I really love Purple Haze cold out of the tap.
Blue Runner Red Beans, Richard's Sausage, Crystal Hot Sauce, Popeye's Chicken, Leblanc's Cajun Seasoning, Raisin' Canes, NOLA brewery, ect all great products, though.

Tin roof is awful.
why would you drink community when you could drink union/french market.
abita is hit and miss. Nola is top notch.
sounds to me like you just need to choose your local products more wisely.
