I'm assuming everyone gets this. It's every gottdamn night. Can't sleep for hours usually because my brain won't shut off. Some of it matters. Some of it is stupid shite. What is your experience?

I used to struggle with that quite a bit but melatonin, Xanax or booze takes care of it for me these days. I HATED when I couldn't fall asleep and my mind was racing. If you don't want to take anything a hot shower followed by some reading helps.

Is also a solid choice.

Pretty much the same but I have OCD. Xanax helps with sleeping.

Melatonin works but I just goof off on iPad until sleepy.

This makes me think MORE if I do it right before bed. It can be decent if you do it way before though and go to bed when you are tired and coming down.

The internet is shitty for me if I am trying to fall asleep, reading a book is WAY better!

Been dealing with that myself lately. I can be tired and relaxed and the moment my head hits the pillow my mind starts racing.

Just take all your worries and desires and thoughts and pile them all up in your head so youre thinking of all of them at once
Then in one quick breathe just say "frick it itll figure itself out" and sleep like a baby

Just read something until you pass out. That's what usually works for me.

It is called the monkey brain. Try to meditate. Humming in your head helps prevent the monkey brain. Most of the time I pray between humming in my head.

I've battled with depression off and on that was always self brought on, so that really gets your mind racing when you try and settle it, What I found that worked was podcasting.... throw in some ear buds and put you on a play list and go. Once you doze off a few times just pull the buds out and pass out
. What is your experience?
good luck
