Will there ever be another likeable President?

It seems there is too much conflict within the US for there to be another President that has an overwhelmingly positive favor with the population. Add social media to the mix and things get worse.

Everyone will dislike Hillary but so what

She'll never be POTUS. She's about as good of an example of a disgraced politician as you can find.

You love Hillary but do you think she'll bring you your favorite two items - gun bans and universal health care?

actually I am so tired of Hillary. She will never get anything passed on Gun Control or health Care.
I wish there was somebody who I wanted in 2016. I was thinking of my governor but he is yesterday's news.

Liked by at least 65% of the population? I doubt it. There will always be a split, but IMO that is what makes politics so darn entertaining.

Clinton and Reagan were pretty well liked. Mainly because their economies were buzzing.

I really liked Clinton just hated that he was such a good pol for the other side

I don't vote for some one to be "likeable." Electing a president is not about or shouldn't be about likability. That individual was hired for a job that I need done and the prime quality is competence which unfortunately is in short supply today.

The Taliban seems to like Obama very well now!

Not as long as we have the media like CNN and Foxnews to push their agendas and split the country on every political topic.

Nice refutation. Your mother must be very proud of your skills.

Ehh, Obama was a very likable candidate in 2008. It's why he beat Hillary in the primary and then McCain. He was much more likable than either and it wasn't purely a media creation -- sure they helped, but he was still more likable.
It's hard to imagine who could be less likable than Hillary, which is why she won't be president.
Obama is not likable as an elected official. I don't know if we will have another President in office, who is deemed likable by more people than not. I like to think we will.
