Don't blame Chavis

We have seen players leave early the last two years for a reason. Would you stay at LSU as long as the situation remains unchanged? Chavis is doing what is best for himself just like 20+ players have done. Its the HC's job to lead in a manner that inspires confidence in the destination. LSU doesn't have that type of HC. We have one who will stubbornly sink than admit he is wrong.

Money. Money is the answer you're looking for. This has nothing to do with head coaching. Sumlin isn't a special head coach.

If you think this is about money you don't get the point at all. Pumping will not solve the problem in our program.

Blame Alleva. If your HC wants to retain a DC, you do what is needed to make sure that happens. Not like LSU is lacking for money.
That being said, this program needs something to give it a kickstart. Maybe a new DC can do that. We really need to figure out the QB situation though....

It's to the point that people hate Miles so much that they fail to hold anyone else in the program accountable for anything. Any coach or player failing is attributed to Miles somehow and not the person themselves.
